We are huge advocates of "your wedding - your choice". Whatever you value, stay true to creating the day of YOUR dreams!
That being said, we have done this a few times and have seen some things that work better than others. One of our biggest suggestions is that you do a first look! A few reasons why:

It allows you to get photos out of the way early!

Instead of having to take photos during cocktail hour, you will be able to mingle with your guests who travelled to see you!

You can get beautiful photos with fresh hair + makeup

If you wait until after your ceremony, your hair and makeup won't be as fresh as if you get photos immediately after completing them!

Spend more time together!

Arguably the most important reason to do a first look! Instead of staying separated throughout the day, you're able to soak it all in together. We LOVE a private, intimate moment between the two of you!

The band plays a mix of rock, country, and pop from today all the way back to the 50's, - everything from Elvis and Johnny Cash to AC/DC and Journey to Lady Gaga, the BlackEyed Peas, and Zac Brown. All danceable, well-known, upbeat hits.
